History - Sri Gowri Parameswari Devalayam
Laid Foundation Stone of Sri Gowri Seva Sangham – 20 June 1943
Sri Gowri Seva Sangham was established to preserve temple traditions, manage religious activities, and serve the spiritual needs of the community.
Community Hall - 5 September 1950
The Community Hall was constructed on 05-09-1950 to support religious gatherings, cultural programs, annadanam, and community activities.
Sri Gowri Panchayatana Temple – 31 August 1958
On 31-08-1958, the main five temples of Sri Ganesh, Sri Shiva, Sri Gowri Devi, Sri Lakshmi Narayana, and Sri Suryanarayana were constructed and consecrated, forming the spiritual foundation of the temple complex.
Navagraha Sannidhi – 1 October 1968
The Navagrahalu Sannidhi was established on 01-10-1968 to help devotees seek astrological balance and spiritual harmony.
Ramakoti Stupham – 9 May 1974
The Ramakoti Stupham was constructed on 09-05-1974, symbolizing devotion through the continuous chanting of Lord Rama’s divine name.
Geetha Mandhiram – 20 December 1974
The Geetha Mandiram was established on 20-12-1974, strengthening bhakti, dharma, and spiritual teachings within the temple premises.
Sri Santoshi Mata Sannidhi – 28 July 1982
The Santoshi Mata Sannidhi was constructed on 28-07-1982, becoming a sacred place for devotees seeking peace, prosperity, and family harmony.
Ayyappa Swami Sannidhi – 30 September 1987
The Ayyappa Swami Sannidhi was established on 30-09-1987, supporting disciplined worship and Mandala season observances.

He was a pioneer and leader in brining awareness in the commercial and social fields among the Gouri nationals. His efforts in establishing Sri Gouri Seva Sangha by taking a share of the dharma collected from from the members of the Anakapalle Trade Association are memorable. He served as the Muncipal Chairman for the longest period in the history of Anakaplle and earned the reputation of being an efficient administrator.

Mithabashi, who continuously rendered service to the Gauri Seva Sangha, will never be forgotten for his tireless dedication and hard work in establishing the Sangha, constructing the Shri Gauri Parameshwari Panchayat Temple, and successfully organizing prestigious programs. Every year, he donated a building on the main road to the Sangha for the welfare expenses of Shri Gauri Parameshwari. In his memory, an open air theater was built in the Sangha premises.

Along with prominent figures like Smt. Bharathi Devi Ranga, he fought against the British rule. He served as the Vice-Chairman of Anakapalle Municipal Corporation for 5 years and made significant contributions to the construction of the Nidanam Doddi Municipal Corporation Hospital. He was elected as the President of the All India Gaurikula Sangh in 1946 and along with Sati, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Sri Gauri Parameshwari Panchayat Temple on 10-2-1946 and became a memorable figure.

The eldest sons of Malla Ramayya, the founding secretary of the Sangha, Sri Malla Jagannathanga, and the prominent businessman, Sri Malla Appala Nayugaru, along with his wife, Sanyasamma, performed the consecration of the Sri Gauri Parameshwari Panchayat Temple on 31-8-1958 and became famous.

Sriman Chinganananda Swami, the head of the Balighattam Brahmananda Ashram, was a spiritual icon who bestowed his blessings on the temple construction, from the foundation stone laying ceremony to the consecration ceremony.
